Score for The Aftermath:

Adam Shumate on Piano
Ben Cantil : Electronic Music

fun playful, weird glitchy, build up into epic explosion, then slow motion shattering, beautiful.

end with lianne breathing

Major points:

Lianne - on stage spotlight on her image appears on screen off to the side she goes through the fabric and picture jumps to full screen.

lianne is off screen (back stage)

as she goes through the fabric the video version is on the ground and gets up - green screen of lianne.

get people to help us with the animation ( Kara, Dado, Susan ??)

The Aftermath
Story:
Just a normal person
Cause effect. Reaction.
Shatter/ sped up and slowed down

Beginning:
Lianne on stage projection turns on mirror image of Lianne.
- mirror
- Lianne starts to do regular mirror stuff
- lags, or twitches
- touch mirror and image warps and smears
big screen mirror is a small part of it…
pushes it and it jumps across the screen
morph.
In and out of the projection
Ink splatter…..
Slow motion camera
Repetition
Blue… as the color theme
First it is fun, playful, creepy, scary, fast, puzzle, the whole thing builds up to an explosion, then the aftermath of the explosion, the beautiful decay type thing. Burns into nothing, Lianne exits screen, projection turns to live feed of audience. Lights down.
Ideas: Storyboarding, drawing it out.
Think of visually cool animated/video sequences for “dream” scenes.
Rain or snow falling or ink, words, creepy horrifying
Next Meeting: Next Thursday 7pm

Costuming: Cobalt Blue Dress (blue jeans and blue- tshirt)

Time for a new project

Lianne, Laura and I are in the process of starting a "collective". Our collective will create multi media projects/performances that combine and integrate all of our collective interests. I am a video editor, producer, educator, event planner and community activist. Laura Piraino, is an animator and video editor with tremendous passion for helping people. Lianne O'Shea is an amazing actress and dancer. Our goal with our first project together is to create a piece that combines all of our interests.
